Getting Ready for the Holidays

It is that time of year again. I was investing my time baking cookies and making dough I could share amongst friends when I was rudely interrupted again. Also? In my family and friends set, we refer to this time period right before Thanksgiving and until the end of the year as domestic violence season. Be careful to manage your emotions appropriately during this timeframe. I would hate when I see a good person get caught up in someone else's wrath. ...but I digress.

Tis the season for merrymaking and getting dressed to the nines just to hang out. Are you pullnig out specialized cufflinks? Do you have a tie or a suit that always makes an appearance? For us, my dad has had a Santa Claus suit our entire lives and he shows up in that peace of a Halloween costume looking as jolly as ever to drop off his grandchildren's gifts just like he did for me when I was young.

Now he has GREAT-grandchildren and I am amazed. I know this is a time for lots of us to take a cruise. I have never been on 1, but my sister frequently has gone during the holiday season. I think it's a great treat. How do you prep? Hopefully you are getting your feet done. And hopefully you are getting them done prior to the day of the trip. And definitely before you board the ship. That's what a local nail tech is for. The splurge before you make your moves. Do you get them polished or you just wing it with a fresh toenail clipping and a little callous remover?

Whatever you do, be sure to enjoy yourself while you are doing it. But remember, it is the season to get hit and hit someone. Tempers are short and depending on where you live determines if anyone can hear anyone at all run off at the mouth. So watch it. Prepare yourself, take time to declutter and destress, and always remember I am preparing to be in business for you all to use just at New Years Eve. I look forward to meeting you and developing an action plan for your little piggies that went to market & the ones that stayed home.
